Dr. Nasser Dean Askari is a board-certified pediatrician and internal medicine physician who has focused on primary care since finishing his residency at UT Houston’s MacGovern Medical School in 2016. Born and raised in Arlington, TX, he decided to move back to the DFW area to practice to be near family and give back to the community that shaped him. Given his medical training, he is equipped to take care of the whole family - from newborn babies to senior patients. He focuses on preventative medicine by doing wellness exams and screening for and treating common conditions that affect the population like diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease. His method of medical treatment centers on promoting healthy lifestyle choices, respecting patient autonomy, and utilizing medical guidelines as a framework to create individualized approaches to care. Using this approach he can share knowledge and advice from years of experience to guide his patients on how to maintain good health.
Dr Askari lives in Mansfield with his wife and three sons. His life centers on his family and he enjoys spending time with them, coaching his sons’ soccer teams, playing music and being outdoors.
