Alicia DeMitchell, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner. Alicia grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and received degrees in neuroscience, Spanish and gender and health from the University of Michigan. She obtained both her Bachelor and Master of Nursing from Northern Michigan University. She spent several years as an inpatient nurse while working on her education for family practice and comprehensive health throughout the lifespan. Her background as a nurse makes her an ideal primary care provider due to her comfortability communicating with her patients and her hands-on experience dealing with a wide range of illnesses. As a nurse practitioner, she focuses on management and early detection of chronic illnesses and health maintenance. She seeks to facilitate the care of her patients and help her patients understand their health and how to best navigate through the healthcare system together.
Nurse Practitioner Alicia DeMitchell lives in Fort Worth with her husband who also works in healthcare. She has three small dogs and several large fish tanks. She enjoys traveling and long board games and looks forward to building up her family and community.
