Practice Highlights

· Case mix includes OB/GYN, Thoracic, General, Ortho, Spine, Urology, Podiatry, ENT, Peds, Cath Lab, and Endoscopy

Facility Information
HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital, located in Panama City, is a full-service, 282-bed acute care facility that has served the Bay County community for over 40 years. A major focus of the facility is its advanced surgical services, which include multiple state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped for general, orthopedic, vascular, and robotic-assisted surgeries. The hospital also features a dedicated Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and supports complex procedures with specialized post-operative care. In addition to its surgical strength, Gulf Coast Hospital offers 24/7 emergency care—including a pediatric ER—along with Level III NICU, PICU, women’s health, cardiac care, and rehabilitation services. It holds certifications as a Primary Stroke Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center, and a Comprehensive Breast Care Center. With over 1,200 employees and more than 600 affiliated physicians, the hospital combines modern infrastructure, specialized clinical programs, and a strong emphasis on surgical excellence to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to the surrounding communities.
