Smoking, Vaping and a Healthy Heart
It has been well-documented that smoking leads to 1 out of 5 deaths in the United States due to the harm it causes to nearly every organ in the body including the heart, lungs, eyes, mouth and bones. While the American public has been well-educated on the harms of smoking tobacco, the new question is whether vaping e-Cigarettes are harmful as well.
While regular cigarettes are known to cause cardiovascular diseases, it now appears that vaping with e-Cigarettes might cause cardiovascular disease as well. A study published in JAMA Cardiology Journal cited that people who use e-Cigarettes daily had key biological markers known to increase heart disease in tobacco users. Compared to healthy non-smokers, those who regularly vaped had increased levels of oxidative stress and increased levels of adrenaline in the heart. These are two key markers for heart risk.
Bad or Worse
Experts are now warning that e-Cigarettes can be as bad for your heart as smoking regular cigarettes. The medical team at the Questcare Medical Clinics recommend that you get pertinent information before deciding to start or to continue vaping with e-Cigarettes.
